For Sale...

We officially listed our house on April 13, 2017!! The realtor is pretty specific on what he wants done before it's listed so we had some work to do. We moved some furniture and cleaned a ton! It was a nice way to start the packing process!!

We listed on Thursday and by Tuesday we had 6 offers! Crazy!! All of them were at or above asking price. After reviewing them all we picked the one we thought was the best for us. We should be closing on the house on May 19. This is getting so real it's a little scary!

Anyway, here are the photos that were on the listing page. It looks so clean and shiny! I will be totally honest though, getting it this clean was extremely challenging and exhausting! Trying to keep it looking like this for showings with 5 kids was near impossible! We decided to pack up the trailer and head out for the weekend so it would stay clean. :)

Now the countdown is on...

New Adventure!

We are so, so, so excited to finally announce our big plans for the summer!!

Our house is officially on the market and we are packing up for an adventurous summer! The plan is to move all seven of us in to a 31 foot travel trailer and travel (mostly) around Washington state. We do have plans to visit some other nearby states as well. There is so much we haven't seen in the 10 years we have been here!

People always look at us like "You are doing what?!" when we tell them. I know they are thinking "why would you want to do that??" Maybe we are crazy. Maybe we won't make it the whole summer without killing each other. But we are all so excited for the adventure to begin!

Unfortunately, Daniel has a job that requires him to be in his office and he cannot work remotely. This causes a slight cramp in our plans. So for now we are planning on staying somewhat close by Monday-Thursday so he can work and make a living. On the weekends we will be further away visiting lighthouses and going on awesome hikes!

I am hoping to keep this blog updated with all of the stops and sights we see. Fingers crossed our house sells fast and we can get going on a new chapter!

Ours is the MPG trailer (not the huge Raptor parked next to us!).

So if you need us over the summer, we'll be at a campsite somewhere in Washington!
